Give Thanks

Psalm 9:1 “I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders.”

In the spirit of gratitude as we approach Thanksgiving tomorrow I want to share what I am thankful for! Everything listed below is just a snapshot of my values, priorities and beliefs!

First and foremost, Jesus: There are really no words that can come close to describe the magnitude of my gratitude for who Jesus is and what he did on the cross so that we could be set free. I am grateful that I get to live for a God that is loving, kind, merciful and gracious. He is my everything.

My husband: Akeem Prosser is the man of my dreams. I am so grateful for his heart, wisdom, constant support and encouragement. This man has loved, accepted and believed in me in a way that I never knew was possible. I am one blessed girl!

My Family: They have seen me at my best and at my worst and still love and embrace the person that I am and continue to become. Although they may not have understood every decision I have made, they have always supported me.

My Church: Wave Church has played a significant role in my life as a believer. The church has become my family over the years and adds strength to my relationship with Christ. My friends, my purpose, my husband were all found while planting myself in the local church.

My Friends: Wow, where would I be without my amazing friends? I truly cherish the importance of friendship and can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am where I am and am who I am because of the support and encouragement of my friends. They have believed in me even when I haven’t believed in myself.

The Word of God: I made a decision to become a Christian through reading the word of God. After reading the bible each night for 2 weeks my heart started to transform which led me to make a decision to follow Jesus. The word is living and active and has healed my broken heart. It speaks, inspires, challenges, reveals and provides like nothing else in this world.

What are you thankful for?

Don’t let this week pass you by without intentionally thinking about all that you have to be grateful for. Also, don’t keep it to yourself! Give thanks to God by “telling of His wonders”. Your attitude of gratitude can inspire others to see goodness in their lives.

Happy Thanksgiving!
